The silence of goodbyes

As humans, we tend to care and respect some people even if we were never close. Unknowing to those people that we would love to hear them say goodbye anytime they would love to leave.

The Silence of Goodbyes

On winding paths, we tread alone,    Endless experiences, yet hearts are stone.                                                  The bitter truth we can’t ignore, Parting ways, without a word, we endure.

The ache within, a heavy weight,     As loved ones leave, without a final state.                                            Perhaps it wasn’t meant to be,          A mismatch of minds, a failure to see.

We placed them on pedestals high, Mentors, guides, who wandered by. No meeting of hearts, no shared despair,                                               Just silence, and an empty air.

Yet still we cling, to memories past, Thrive in the darkness, forever to last.                                              Through life’s turbulent ocean tide, We drift apart, side by side.

The silence screams, a deafening sound,                                                    As loved ones leave, without a word unbound.                                            The pain remains, a gnawing ache,   A heart that’s broken, for love’s sake.

Ennie words.
