What The AI Checker Does
It reads your writing and gives one score for how likely it is to come from ChatGPT, Gemini or another chatbot. Then it shades each sentence, so you can tell whether the whole piece reads that way or just a few paragraphs.
Free For Everyone
No sign up and no credits. Adroit Tutors students with a paid course and Adroit Plus members also get the Humaniser, for when a draft sounds more like a machine than like them.
Made For Students
Essays, term papers, project chapters, personal statements. Paste your text or open a Word file or PDF of up to 9,000 words. Your writing is checked, then thrown away.
Humaniser
Turn stiff, robotic writing into something that sounds like a person wrote it. Same points, same facts, same citations, just easier to read. For Adroit Tutors students and Adroit Plus members.

Questions About The AI Checker
Is the Adroit AI Checker free?
Yes. The AI Checker is free for everyone, with no sign up and no word credits. Paste your writing or open a file and check it as often as you like, within a fair use limit per hour.
Can it spot writing from ChatGPT, Gemini and other chatbots?
Yes. It is built to recognise writing produced by ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other popular AI chatbots. Writing that has been heavily edited or paraphrased after it was generated is harder to judge, so no checker catches everything.
What do the shaded sentences mean?
Each part of your writing is checked on its own and shaded by how likely it is to be AI written, from clear for human writing to deep red for likely AI. This shows whether a piece is fully AI written or only partly.
How much text can I check?
At least 50 words, and up to 60,000 characters at a time, which is about 9,000 words. Long documents are checked in parts, so a full project chapter can take a minute or two.
What is the Humaniser?
The Humaniser rewrites stiff or robotic writing so it reads naturally, while keeping your meaning, facts, names and citations. You can choose a natural, academic or simple tone. Always read the result and make it your own.
Who can use the Humaniser?
Any student who has paid for an Adroit Tutors course, online or in our physical classes, in full or in instalments, and every Adroit Plus member. Sign in with the account you paid with. If an instalment is overdue, the Humaniser pauses until it is paid.
Is my writing saved?
No. The AI Checker runs on Adroit Tutors' own server and your writing is discarded straight away. The Humaniser sends your text to Google's Gemini service to write the new version, and Adroit Tutors does not store it.
Can I use the result to accuse someone of cheating?
No. Every AI checker makes mistakes, and formal, formulaic or second language writing is sometimes flagged by error. Treat the result as a reason to look closer and talk to the writer, never as proof on its own.
What files can I open?
You can paste text or open a Word document (.docx), a PDF or a plain text file. Files are read on your own device. Older Word files (.doc) and scanned PDFs cannot be read, so save them as .docx first.
