EGL202 (Introduction to General Phonetics and Phonology II) is your second theoretical phonology course. Unlike EGL201 that focuses largely on segmental phonology, EGL202 takes you on a journey into the world of suprasegmental phonology. Here, you’ll learn that the knowledge of sound segments isn’t enough to exhibit phonological prowess. You’ll get acquainted to the prosody of speaking.
